Standing in the Breach for Nepal

On August 26, a sudden flood struck the Bhote Koshi River in Nepal. Many families lost their homes, loved ones and livelihoods. Search, rescue and rebuilding are still under way, and children in particular need long-term care. We plan to help in two phases: 🔹 Phase 1: three months of basic living support for 100 affected families ($80 × 100), plus the first year of long-term care for 50 affected children ($480 × 50); 🔹 Phase 2: continuing beyond the first year, we will walk alongside these 50 children for two more years, a full three years in all, so they can keep learning, receive care, and see a future again. A flood can destroy a home, but it should not destroy a child’s future.
